Terms and Conditions

 

The use of this website is governed by these Terms and Conditions. Please take a moment to review them as use or the purchase of products from the website (www.teakwarehouse.com) constitutes your agreement to follow these Terms and Conditions, and to be bound by them.

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY

Upon delivery, the recipient or representative of the recipient must inspect all goods; confirming that items are received in acceptable condition. Please note all items arrive fully assembled & unpackaged (unless otherwise requested; Teak Warehouse is not responsible for concealed damage discovered due to crating/packaging). If items are damaged or defective in any way, please reject & send back with the carrier. Damaged/defective items that are not rejected at time of delivery will not be eligible for exchange/replacement. Teak Warehouse is not liable for damage found after delivery. If damaged items are received & signed for, this is in an indication the order has been accepted in good condition and is no longer eligible for exchange or replacement. Please have intended installation area free and clear of any old furniture prior to the delivery team’s arrival. The delivery team will place item(s) wherever directed and remove packaging as applicable (if items are crated, receiver is responsible for opening/disposing of crates). Please note, the delivery team is not permitted to rearrange, remove, or dispose of your old furniture.

CUSTOMER PICK-UP

Pick-ups are by appointment only. TW Customer Service will contact you directly to schedule your pickup. Driver(s) who show up without a pick-up appointment will be turned away.  Upon pick-up, the recipient or representative of the recipient must inspect all goods; confirming that items are in acceptable condition. Please note all items are fully assembled & unpackaged (unless otherwise requested). Please bring all necessary packing/transport materials to ensure the safe arrival of your items. Teak Warehouse employees are not permitted to assist in loading vehicles, so please plan to have the appropriate help upon pick-up. Teak Warehouse is not liable for any items that arrive to their destination damaged after they are picked up from our warehouse. Invoice number must be referenced at time of pick-up for order to be released. Pick-up will not be released without this information; Teak Warehouse is not responsible for any charges that result from failed pick-up attempts due to driver(s) not being prepared with the necessary information. If scheduled pick-up date is missed, order is subject to accruing storage fees each subsequent day until the order is picked up.

 

PAYMENT/CANCELLATIONS/EXCHANGES/RETURNS

All orders must be paid in full before any goods leave Teak Warehouse. If order includes any out-of-stock items, the entire order will not ship until all items are back in stock. Please note any special requests to split shipments will be subject to additional delivery fees.

If you’re looking to return/exchange/cancel your order for whatever reason, we offer free returns within 48 hours of purchase. This excludes custom and made-to-order items, including but not limited to, cushions, canopies, covers, and special-order items. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund via check. Refunds (to the original payment method after payment has posted) will incur a 3% fee. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags and in its original packaging, if applicable. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. There are no refunds or cancellations, on custom/made-to-order items that have already started production, no exceptions. But, if your order has not shipped, is not ready to ship, and/or has not started production, you can request store credit for the purchase price of your order. The store credit is valid for 365 days from the date of issue, after that, the credit expires.

Orders already delivered can be returned for a full refund, store credit, or exchanged for a different product, up to 10 days after date of delivery. Customer will be responsible for any return/shipping costs/fees associated with returning product(s) back for a refund/exchange. These costs/fees must be paid in full before a return/exchange is arranged. All sales are final 10 days after date of delivery.

 

CLEARANCE/SALE/DISCONTINUED ITEMS

All purchases of sale/clearance/discounted items are final. These items are sold as-is and cannot be returned, exchanged, or repaired. These items are not covered under warranty and cannot be replaced as they are discontinued and will not be restocked.

 

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

We make every effort to display the most current and accurate product inventory information. However, due to the nature of the items sold and the variations/limitation of computer screens, we do not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, current, or error-free. In the event that a product’s availability date changes, we will notify you directly when possible. Please reach out to your sales rep for additional information regarding product availability.

 

LEAD TIME(S)/ETA(S)

Any/all given lead times are approximations and in no way indicative of a guarantee. Lead times can be unpredictable and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Teak Warehouse. Teak Warehouse will not provide refunds/exchanges/cancellations because of extended or missed lead times/ETAs. Please be mindful of this when deciding to purchase out-of-stock items. Please note that all orders ship in entirety. Split shipments are subject to additional fees.

 

CUSTOM CUSHIONS/CANOPIES

Custom cushions and canopies are made to order and not immediately available. Cushion/canopy production takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. You will be contacted/your order will ship once production is complete. Your order will not ship before cushions are complete. Split shipments are subject to additional fees. Please note additional custom requests to cushions, i.e. ties, premium fabric options, piping, etc. are also subject to additional fees.

 

PREMIUM FABRIC SELECTIONS

Teak Warehouse offers premium fabric options for custom cushions for an additional fee (these premium selections are not included in the price of the furniture frame). Required yardage for the desired cushions must be purchased before production can begin. Price per yard and required yards will vary by style/collection.

 

PROTECTIVE FURNITURE COVERS

Protective furniture covers are custom and made-to-order. Production lead time is approx. 4 to 5 weeks. If your order includes protective furniture covers, the covers will ship separately from the furniture pieces via FedEx. You will receive separate tracking info for the covers once they ship.

 

CUSTOM/SPECIAL ORDERS

Custom/special orders are final sale(s). Once production begins, order cannot be modified in any way, including but not limited to, color, style, quantity, material, timeline, etc. Please review your order documentation in detail before payment is processed to ensure all information is accurate. Any/all given lead times for custom/special order items are approximations and in no way indicative of a guarantee. Lead times can be unpredictable and are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Teak Warehouse. Teak Warehouse will not provide refunds/exchanges/cancellations because of extended or missed lead times/ETAs. Please be mindful of this when deciding to purchase custom/special order items.

 

DAMAGED/DEFECTIVE ITEMS

We stand behind our products! If you receive an item that is defective, you must immediately reject & send back with the carrier. Damaged/defective items that are not rejected at time of delivery will not be eligible for exchange/replacement. Teak Warehouse is not liable for damage found after delivery. If items are crated, receiver is responsible for opening/disposing of crates. Teak Warehouse is not responsible for concealed damage discovered due to crating. If you reject an item with the carrier, please contact us with details & photos of the specific issue upon receipt of goods so we can review and exchange the item for its exact replacement, if appropriate. If damaged items are received & signed for, this is in an indication the order has been accepted in good condition and is no longer eligible for exchange or replacement.

There are no exceptions. Items damaged in transit must be reported & rejected upon delivery of the goods by the recipient or representative. Your assistance will be required during the claims process. Items damaged by you are non-returnable. We do not replace items damaged by the consumer. However, we may be able to help and potentially repair your product purchased, if possible. Repairs are subject to additional charges and have extended lead times due to volume and technician availability.

 

REPAIRS

To request a repair and/or parts, please email us at cs@teakwarehouse.com and notify us of any issues. We also ask that photos be provided to us via email. Please note repairs/parts are subject to additional charges and have extended lead times due to volume and technician availability. Teak Warehouse does not stock spare parts; availability is not guaranteed. An evaluation of the item may be required prior to providing a price quote so that we can determine the extent of the defect and the corrective action that is most prudent. Repairs may involve Teak Warehouse providing parts directly to our customer where applicable. Teak Warehouse may ship any replacement parts for the furniture in cases where it’s determined the customer can easily make the repair within the warranty period.

 

ORGANIC/SWAMPWOOD ITEMS

Swampwood and organic items all specifically and naturally come with cracks, chips, and discoloration. This is to be expected, as these items are very rustic. Cracks may run down the entire length of the item. Each swampwood/organic piece is unique; no two of these items are alike. This is an intentional design feature. Please note these items may not appear exactly as photographed on the website. The Teak Warehouse limited warranty does not extend to the natural patina of the teak wood or any other naturally occurring discolorations.

 

QUICKSHIP

Our QuickShip products are expertly assembled and ready for pickup or shipment within 72 hours of purchase (business hours/days). Please note that your order must be comprised entirely of QuickShip items to qualify for this turnaround time & expedited service. Our QuickShip lead time denotes order processing time, i.e. ready to pick up/ready to ship, not actual receipt of goods; depending on volume, orders being shipped will likely exceed a delivery timeframe of 72 hours. The Teak Warehouse scheduling team will contact you directly to schedule your delivery. If Teak Warehouse white glove delivery is unavailable for your area, consider picking up your order instead (our scheduling team can assist with this change). If you’d rather not pick up your order/items yourself, Lugg: On-Demand Moving & Delivery is a fast and reliable option for pick-up orders (use code TW5 for a discount!). Discuss with our scheduling team for more information. QuickShip pick-ups are only available at our LA Showroom location. If your order is a pick-up, our scheduling team will contact you directly when your items are ready. Please note that if you have multiple pending orders that you’d like to ship together, the QuickShip lead time(s) cannot be accommodated unless all orders being combined are QuickShip orders.

 

PRICING POLICY

All prices are in US dollars and are subject to applicable taxes according to state and local laws. Availability, price(s), and delivery rates are subject to change. Teak Warehouse reserves the right to refuse orders with incorrect pricing, as well as retro-active price matching. If eligible for tax exemption, resale certificate(s) must be provided prior to payment. Resale certificates cannot be applied to any order(s) retroactively. Resale certificates are non-transferrable. Any order paid for before resale certificate is submitted cannot be adjusted & customer is liable for all applicable tax fees.

WARRANTY

Teak Warehouse is committed in providing the highest-quality outdoor furniture for many days, weeks, and years of enjoyment. We offer a 1-year residential limited warranty against manufacturer’s defects from date of product delivery. This warranty covers outdoor furniture manufactured by Teak Warehouse and made with materials including, but not limited to, lightweight concrete, 316 stainless steel, A-Grade teak, reclaimed teak, synthetic outdoor wicker, HDPE extruded weaves, powder-coated steel and powder-coated aluminum, and other materials carried in our outdoor furniture portfolio. We warranty this outdoor furniture to be free of defect in material and workmanship as detailed above for the period of one year from the date of delivery. Commercial furniture for projects has a 6-month warranty from the date of delivery. Sale, clearance, and/or discounted items are final sale and not covered under any Teak Warehouse limited warranty. These items are sold as-is and cannot be returned, exchanged, repaired, or replaced as they are discontinued and will not be restocked.

“Defects” are defined as imperfections that impair the use of your furniture. This warranty does not apply to any cases of normal wear & tear on the furniture.

“Normal wear and tear” is defined as the normal deterioration caused by regular use of the furniture.

“Checking” or small cracking of the teak wood is a normal and natural occurrence that should be expected.

This warranty does not cover any damage or loss or condition that is beyond the control of Teak Warehouse including but not limited to cases of unauthorized repair, modifications after purchase, improper use, infestation, negligence, misuse, vandalism, wind damage, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fire, earthquake, or any other similar acts of Force Majeure. This warranty only applies to the original purchaser of the furniture with proof of purchase. If your furniture arrives damaged or in poor condition, please reject at the time of delivery so a replacement can be issued. If damaged items are received & signed for, this is in an indication the order has been accepted in good condition and is no longer eligible for exchange or replacement. Teak Warehouse reserves the right to not only replace but also repair any piece that is covered under the terms of this warranty.

Teak Warehouse reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your purchase and/or use of this website following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed. For this reason, we encourage you to review these terms and conditions each time you use this website.

Site Policies, Modification, and Severability

Please review our other policies, such as our Shipping and Returns policy, posted on this site. These policies also govern your visit to Teak Warehouse. We reserve the right to make changes to our site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions of Use at any time. If any of these conditions shall be deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

 

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Teak Warehouse harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys’; fees, arising from or related to your use of the site, including, without limitation, your use of this website in violation of these Terms of Use.
